Nick and I are in Pittsburgh for a convention, and we hailed an Uber last night, and were informed that we were going to be driven in a self-driving car. I could have died, I was so excited. I had all expectations of a car rolling up and us getting in, but it was “operated”. I guess they’d call that a driverless car, not a self-driving.
There was an engineer with a laptop in the front passenger seat, and on his screen, it showed what the car “saw”. It was a very short ride, but I was speechless. We live in the future!
I’m headed to the beaches of sunny Florida.
I can’t be the only one who travels like this. My wife thought it was hilarious… Just another day for me.
Additionally, I’m trying out the WordPress iOS apps, both iPhone and iPad, this week. My posts might be a bit shorter: text entry isn’t the strongest on these devices. The interesting part, so far, about the iOS app (iPhone, at least) is that it is code heavy. I added the image above, and I’m not sure if its supposed to do this, but it dumped the HTML code right into the post. I can’t imagine the good folks at WordPress actually mean for normal people to learn HTML!
I’m similarly unsure if I need paragraph elements or not. Maybe I will need to edit this post immediately… Whatever!
